The Sensex is now up 36 points at 17,842.The NSE Nifty is flat at 5,270.HDFC has zoomed 5% to Rs 2,705. Mahindra & Mahindra has soared 4.3% to Rs 657.BHEL and Ranbaxy have surged around 4% each to Rs 2,270 and Rs 435, respectively.Larsen & Toubro has rallied 3.3% to Rs 3,633, and Maruti has gained 2.7% at Rs 835.Grasim has slumped 6% to Rs 2,860. Reliance Energy has plunged over 4% to Rs 1,626.Satyam has tumbled nearly 3% to Rs 437. Infosys and TCS have dropped around 2.5% each to Rs 1,619 and Rs 877, respectively.SBI and ACC have shed 1.7% each at Rs 2,084 and Rs 817, respectively.Out of 2,791 stocks traded so far, 1,511 have advanced, 1,209 have declined and 71 are unchanged.
