The Sensex is now up 393 points at 15,226.The NSE Nifty is up 105 points at 4,638.Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has soared 6.5% to Rs 214, and Wipro has zoomed nearly 6% to Rs 381.Mahindra & Mahindra and HDFC Bank have rallied 4.5% each to Rs 665 and Rs 1,286, respectively. Satyam has surged 4% to Rs 385.Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors and Larsen & Toubro have advanced around 3.5% each to Rs 785, Rs 641 and Rs 2,861, respectively.Reliance Communications, HDFC and ICICI Bank have moved up around 3% each to Rs 513, Rs 2,268 and Rs 790, respectively.Out of 2,611 stocks traded so far, 1,345 have declined, 1,190 have declined and 76 are unchanged.
