The Sensex is now up 409 points at 16,216.The NSE Nifty is up 124 points at 4,902.Ranbaxy has zoomed nearly 11% to Rs 491.TCS has soared nearly 8% to Rs 980, and Wipro has surged 7.5% to Rs 437. Infosys has moved up nearly 7% to Rs 1,519, and Satyam has added 4.4% to Rs 452.Bharti Airtel and DLF have gained 4.5% each at Rs 841 and Rs 625, respectively.ICICI Bank has advanced 4.3% to Rs 822. Hindustan Unilever and ONGC have surged around 4% each to Rs 245 and Rs 1,039, respectively.Reliance Communications is up 3.7% at Rs 512.Out of 2,577 stocks traded, 1,680 have advanced, 838 have declined and 59 are unchanged.
