The Sensex has opened with a positive gap of 64 points at 16,742, but soon slipped into the negative zone to a low of 16,593 - down 149 points from the day's open.The index has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 42 points at 16,720.HDFC Bank has dropped 2.5% to Rs 1,355. Hindustan Unilever and Larsen & Toubro have slipped 1.4% each to Rs 229 and Rs 3,300, respectively.ITC and Wipro are down 1% each at Rs 191 and Rs 415, respectively.Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra have gained 1.4% each at Rs 703 and Rs 694, respectively.Ranbaxy is up over 1% at Rs 455.
