Sensex up 44pts

 The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 55 points at 11,951.

Reliance and Hindalco have rallied nearly 3% each to Rs 947 and Rs 210, respectively. Bajaj Auto has zoomed 2.8% to Rs 3,030.

Tata Steel and Grasim are up 1.5% each at Rs 618 and Rs 2,340, respectively.

NTPC, Satyam, ONGC and BHEL have gained over 1% each at Rs 145, Rs 864, Rs 1,342 and Rs 2,361, respectively.

Ranbaxy has dropped 1.5% to Rs 473. HDFC has declined 1.2% to Rs 1,285.

HDFC Bank, Bharti Tele and TCS are down 1% each at Rs 838, Rs 409 and Rs 1,998, respectively.

The market breadth is fairly positive. Out of 1,997 stocks traded so far, 1,229 have moved up, 718 have declined and 50 are unchanged.

Ispat Industries has been relisted on the brouses today. The stock zoomed to a high of Rs 24.85, and is now trading at Rs 23.50 amid huge volumes of around 42.13 lakh shares.

The company had delisted the stock in December to undergo the process for reconstruction and amalgamation. 60% of the previous equity now stands cancelled as per the process. The stock was last traded at Rs 10.47 on December 15, 2005.
