The Sensex is now up 45 points at 12,426.Tata Steel has surged 2.5% to Rs 532, and Hindalco has added 1.3% to Rs 173.Gujarat Ambuja and Grasim have moved up nearly 2% each to Rs 117 and Rs 2,521, respectively. ACC has spurted 1.3% to Rs 991.NTPC has advanced 1.7% to Rs 130. Tata Motors and Maruti are up 1.3% each at Rs 854 and Rs 954, respectively. Bajaj Auto is up over 1% at Rs 2,960.ICICI Bank has slipped 1.5% to Rs 698. Hero Honda and HDFC Bank are the other prominent losers.Out of 2,125 stocks traded so far, 1,434 have advanced, 621 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
