The Sensex is now up 47 points at 12,428.Tata Steel has surged 2.5% to Rs 532, and Hindalco has added nearly 2% to Rs 173.Gujarat Ambuja has moved up nearly 2% to Rs 118. Grasim and ACC have spurted 1% each to Rs 2,502 and Rs 989, respectively.Ranbaxy, Maruti and Satyam are also up 1% each.ICICI Bank has slipped 1.4% to Rs 699. Hero Honda is down 1% at Rs 781.The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 1,847 stocks traded so far, 1,294 have advanced, 500 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
