The Sensex touched a low of 10,901, and is now up 48 points at 10,927.Hindalco has surged over 3% to Rs 162.ONGC has rallied 2.3% to Rs 1,219. TCS has advanced 2% to Rs 1,866.NTPC has added 1.6% to Rs 138.SBI, ITC, Grasim and Wipro are up over 1% each at Rs 974, Rs 176, Rs 1,916 and Rs 522, respectively.HDFC Bank has declined 1.5% to Rs 756.The market breadth is extremely negative. Out of 2,356 stocks traded so far, 1,409 have declined, 875 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.Ranbaxy tops the value chart with a turnover of Rs 340.38 crore followed by BL Kashyap (Rs 215.45 crore), M&M Financials (Rs 118.88 crore), Reliance Natural Resources (Rs 68.15 crore) and Reliance (Rs 57.28 crore).Reliance Natural Resources leads the volume chart with trades of around 1.76 crore shares followed by Ranbaxy (84.55 lakh), Visa Steel (66.64 lakh), M&M Financials (50.49 lakh) and Reliance Capital Ventures (42.75 lakh).
