Lack of further activity in most of the early drivers of the index has seen the market exhibit a steady movement in mid-noon trades. The Sensex is holding on to its gains at 6,629 - up 51 points, while the Nifty is steady at 2,080 - up 17 points.Infosys, since opening firm, has notched up 2.54% gains (Rs 52) to Rs 2,096. While Reliance is steady with a gain of 1.16% (Rs 6) at Rs 549, HLL is trading 2% higher (Rs 3) at Rs 157. ITC, however, is still trading a rupee lower at Rs 1,329.SBI is still up a per cent (Rs 7) at Rs 655. While HDFC Bank is trading lower by 1.33% (Rs 8) at Rs 571, ICICI Bank is down a rupee at Rs 374.Hero Honda at Rs 547 (up Rs 16 or 3%) and Maruti at Rs 497 (up Rs 16 or 3.37%). Tata Motors is trading with a per cent gain (Rs 4) at Rs 504. Bajaj, however, has slipped into the red to Rs 1,068 - down Rs 2.While Wipro has logged 1.53% gains (Rs 10) to Rs 695, Satyam is up 1.38% (Rs 6) at Rs 408.Hindalco has advanced 1.27% (Rs 17) to Rs 1,374. While Tata Power has gained 1.39% (Rs 6) to Rs 407, Bharti is trading with a steady gain of 1.66% (Rs 3) at Rs 208.BHEL is trading off-highs with a per cent gain (Rs 8) at Rs 821. HDFC is still languishing in negative territory with a loss of 1.11% (Rs 9) at Rs 782.
