The Sensex is moving in a range of 6,800-6,814 as most of the counters are holding on to their earlier gains, with selective profit-taking also adding to a range-bound trend. The Sensex, as a result, is now up 51 points at 6,804, while the Nifty is steady at 2,102 - up 10 points.ONGC has gained 1.19% (Rs 11) to Rs 937, and Reliance is up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 560, off its early highs. ITC (up Rs 4 to Rs 1,585) is trading with steady gains since early trades. HLL has inched lower by 1.16% (Rs 2) to Rs 149.SBI has loged 2.15% gains (Rs 14) to Rs 681. HDFC Bank has advanced 2.44% (Rs 13) to Rs 552, while ICICI Bank is marginally up at Rs 398.Ranbaxy has flared up 2.26% (Rs 25) to Rs 1,117 on fresh buying support. Other pharma counters are trading in the green with steady gains.NTPC (up Rs 3 or 4.23% to Rs 86) has shed some gains on profit-taking. L&T at Rs 1,108 (up Rs 15 or 1.37%), Reliance Energy at Rs 553 (up Rs 7 or 1.30%) and Tata Power at Rs 382 (up Rs 7 or 1.79%) are unchanged with steady gains. Hindalco, however, has eased 1.24% (Rs 14) to Rs 1,095.ACC is up 1.57% (Rs 6) at Rs 380. Grasim and Gujarat Ambuja are holding on to their gains at Rs 1,109 and Rs 448, respectively.TCS has gained a per cent (Rs 13) to Rs 1,295, and Satyam is up a rupee at Rs 466. While Wipro is still trading with a per cent loss (Rs 7) at Rs 715, Infosys (down Rs 3 to Rs 2,240) is trading on a subdued note.
