The Sensex has pared some gains and is now up 53 points at 12,400.Hindalco has gained 2.6% at Rs 231. Tata Steel has rallied nearly 2% to Rs 668.Reliance has added 1.7% to Rs 1,098.Ranbaxy and Dr.Reddy's have advanced over 1% each to Rs 515 and Rs 1,665, respectively.Satyam has spurted 1.5% to Rs 778, and Wipro is up over 1% at Rs 547.HLL has declined over 2% to Rs 287. ICICI Bank has dropped 1.5% to Rs 650.Out of 2,334 stocks traded so far, 1,472 have advanced, 800 have declined and 62 are unchanged.Reliance tops the value chart with a turnover of Rs 83.84 crore followed by two debutants Lokesh Machines (Rs 72.07 crore), Plethico Pharma (Rs 60.49 crore), Reliance Communication Ventures (Rs 55.67 crore) and SAIL (Rs 45.94 crore).Reliance Natural Resources leads the volume chart with trades of around 80 lakh shares followed by SAIL (50.95 lakh), Himachal Futuristic (39.40 lakh), Bella Steel (35.36 lakh) and Nocil (28.83 lakh).
