The Sensex is now up 56 points at 20,248.Hindalco has surged 2.8% to Rs 215. HDFC Bank has advanced nearly 2% to Rs 1,735, and ICICI Bank has added 1.7% to Rs 1,240.Tata Steel and Maruti are the other prominent gainers.Bajaj Auto, Satyam and Reliance Communications are the notable losers.
