The NSE Nifty is up 17 points at 5,054.
BHEL has soared 5% to Rs 1,863. Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has surged 4.3% to Rs 243, and DLF has rallied nearly 4% to Rs 677.
HDFC have advanced 3.5% to Rs 2,569. HDFC Bank has moved up over 3% to Rs 1,491.
ONGC and ITC have gained 2.6% each at Rs 1,058 and Rs 215, respectively.

Cipla and Larsen & Toubro have also gained 2.6% each at Rs 232 and Rs 2,918, respectively.
ICICI Bank has added 2.3% to Rs 884. ACC is up over 2% at Rs 818.
TCS has slumped 9.5% to Rs 897. Wipro has plunged 5.7% to Rs 428, and Satyam has tumbled 4.7% to Rs 437. Infosys has shed 3% at Rs 1,595.
Grasim has dropped 2% to Rs 2,591, and Ranbaxy has declined 1.8% to Rs 490.
Mahindra & Mahindra and Maruti are down 1.5% each at Rs 630 and Rs 755, respectively.
