The Sensex touched a peak of 10,302, and is now up 61 points at 10,285.NTPC has surged to a new all-time high and is now up 3.5% at Rs 134. HLL has rallied 2.7% to Rs 248.Larsen & Toubro has moved up 2.3% to Rs 2,358.Tata Steel, ITC, Reliance Energy, TCS, ONGC and Satyam are up 1-2% each.HDFC Bank has shed 1.5% to Rs 716.Dr.Reddy's, Grasim and Ranbaxy have declined over 1% each to Rs 1,340, Rs 1,659 and Rs 459, respectively.The market breadth is almost neutral. Out of 2,075 stocks traded so far, 1,021 have declined, 981 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.Rei Agro has soared nearly 10% to Rs 176. Moving Pictures, State Bank of Mysore, Kajaria Ceramics, Mirza Tanner, Kirloskar Oil, JK Lakshmi, 3M India, Areva, Syngenta, NTPC, Alstom Project, Chambal Fertilisers and Gujarat Narmada are the other significant gainers.Sesha Paper has slumped 13% to Rs 120. Jagran Prakashan, Unitech, Rain Calcining, Oirental Hotel, Crompton Greaves, ICI India, HCL Infosys and Polaris are on declining mode.
