Buoyancy in the market continues in early noon trades as buying has picked up in select heavyweights followed by healthy gains in banking scrips.The Sensex, which jumped to a high of 7,374, is now up 62 points at 7,366. The Nifty has moved up 17 points to 2,247.The market breadth remains firm on the BSE as 1,830 stocks have advanced against 634 declines so far.Reliance has added 1.38% (Rs 9) to Rs 688. While ITC has scaled up 1.39% (Rs 23) to Rs 1,657, Reliance Energy is up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 640.BHEL has vaulted 4.68% (Rs 44) to Rs 984. Bharti has notched up 3.51% gains (Rs 9) to Rs 262.ICICI Bank has gained 2.85% (Rs 12) to Rs 451, while SBI is unchanged with a per cent gain (Rs 6) at Rs 715. HDFC Bank (down Rs 7 or 1.14% to Rs 635) is still trading at lower levels.Infosys (up Rs 16 to Rs 2,226) is trading at steady levels. Wipro and TCS are subdued at Rs 703 and Rs 1,286, respectively.Bajaj has slipped a per cent (Rs 14) to Rs 1,367. Other auto majors are exhibiting a mixed trend.Grasim and Gujarat Ambuja are trading with marginal losses at Rs 1,153 and Rs 62, respectively.Indiabulls has soared 10.27% (Rs 19) to Rs 203.Reliance Capital is the most active counter on the BSE with a turnover of Rs 51 crore so far, followed by Satyam (Rs 51 crore) and Reliance (Rs 49 crore), respectively.
