The Sensex started on a flat note at 11,149-up 14 points. The index touched a high of 11,215, but slipped into the negative zone. However the market is now recovering. The index is now at 11,198-up 62 points.
Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Steel have advanced around 3% to Rs 456 and Rs 271,respectively.
ICICI Bank and Reliance Communications have increased around 2.5% to Rs 434 and Rs 229, respectively.
Bharti Airtel, SBI, Maruti Suzuki,Tata Motors and Hindalco are around 2% each at Rs 723, Rs 1,290, Rs 815 and Rs 250, respectively.
Ranbaxy has slipped around 2% to Rs 177 and Infosys is down over 1% to Rs 1,431.
