The Sensex is now up 66 points at 14,985.Tata Steel has soared 7.5% to Rs 651. BHEL has surged 2.4% to Rs 1,850.ONGC and Hindalco have rallied around 2% each to Rs 826 and Rs 156, respectively. Reliance Energy has gained 1.8% at Rs 780.HDFC Bank and SBI have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 1,170 and Rs 1,572, respectively.ACC and Grasim are up over 1% each at Rs 1,039 and Rs 2,895, respectively.Infosys has shed 1.5% to Rs 1,855. NTPC and ICICI Bank are down over 1% each at Rs 165 and Rs 853, respectively.Out of 2,653 stocks traded so far, 1,501 have advanced, 1,085 have declined and 67 are unchanged.
