Ranbaxy has surged 3.2% to Rs 510. Reliance Communications has gained 2.6% to Rs 604. Hindustan unilever has moved up 2% to Rs 243.
HDFC Bank and Jaiprakash Associates have added 1.5% each to Rs 1,501 and Rs 270, respectively.
ICICI Bank and SBI are up 1.3% each at Rs 941 and Rs 1,702, respectively.
