The Sensex slipped to a low of 10,260, and soon moved back to higher levels. The index is now up 69 points at 10,293.Bajaj Auto has zoomed 4.6% to Rs 2,661. HLL has surged 4% to Rs 251.Tata Steel has rallied 2.8% at Rs 423, and NTPC has added 2.6% to Rs 133. ONGC (Rs 1,99), ITC (Rs 167) and Satyam (Rs 785) are up over 2% each.Reliance Energy, TCS and Hero Honda have gained over 1% each. Ranbaxy and HDFC Bank have slipped nearly 2% each to Rs 455 and Rs 714, respectively.Grasim, SBI and Reliance are down over 1% each at Rs 1,656, Rs 858 and Rs 696, respectively.The market breadth continues to remain negative. Out of 2,492 stocks traded so far, 1,427 have declined, 982 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.Debutant Inox continues to lead the value chart with a turnover of Rs 228.61 crore followed by Reliance Capital (Rs 109.47 crore), Jagran (Rs 75.85 crore), Larsen & Toubro (Rs 74.28 crore) and Satyam (Rs 59.69 crore).Inox tops the volume chart with trades of around 1.83 crore shares followed by Reliance Capital Ventures (62.79 lakh), SAIL (39.50 lakh), Ashok Leyland (39.50 lakh) and Jagran (29.14 lakh).
