The Sensex is now up 71 points at 16,411.The NSE Nifty is up 35 points at 4,899.Infosys has soared 3.3% to Rs 1,467, and Satyam has surged 3% to Rs 419. TCS has rallied over 2% to Rs 872, and Wipro has added 1.6% to Rs 424.Tata Steel has surged 2.7% to Rs 799. Hindalco, NTPC and ONGC have gained around 2% each at Rs 204, Rs 194 and Rs 977, respectively.HDFC has moved up 1.6% to Rs 2,681, and BHEL has added 1.4% to Rs 2,128.ICICI Bank has plunged over 3% to Rs 940. Bharti Airtel has shed 1.7% at Rs 755.Mahindra & Mahindra is down over 1% at Rs 697.
