The Sensex after a positive start, suddenly turned volatile and dipped to a low of 10,759. However, the index gradually recovered and reached a high of 10,924.92. The Sensex is now at 10,901
Wipro has advanced around 6% to Rs 298. Reliance Communications and TCS has moved up over 3% each at Rs 221and Rs 560, respectively.
Infosys and Maruti Suzuki have increased 2% each at Rs 1,409 and Rs 769, respectively.
Tata Motors,Tata Steel,Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance Infrastructure are some of the other marginal gainers.
On the other hand Bharti Airtel has slipped 2% to Rs 696.
