The Sensex is now up 842 points at 17,572.The NSE Nifty is up 274 points at 5,173.NTPC has zoomed over 12% to Rs 221. Reliance Energy and Reliance Communications have soared around 10% each to Rs 1,890 and Rs 632, respectively.Satyam and BHEL have surged around 9% each to Rs 388 and Rs 2,160, respectively.Hindalco, Reliance and Bajaj Auto have rallied around 8% each to Rs 163, Rs 2,546 and Rs 2,225, respectively.HDFC, DLF and ACC have gained 7.5% each at Rs 2,670, Rs 933 and Rs 776, respectively.SBI and Ranbaxy have advanced over 6% each to Rs 2,300 and Rs 362, respectively.Wipro has shed 3.5% at Rs 414. Out of 2,487 stocks traded, 1,345 have declined, 1,120 have advanced and 22 are unchanged.
