The Sensex has firmed-up and is now up 86 points at 10,287.Infosys has surged 2.5% to Rs 2,826. Maruti is up 2.7% at Rs 799, and Gujarat Ambuja has gained 2.3% at Rs 88.10.Satyam has advanced 1.8% to Rs 782. Grasim (Rs 1,674), HDFC (Rs 1,384) and Dr.Reddy's (Rs 1,327) have moved up over 1.5% each.ITC, TCS, HDFC and Tata Motors are up over 1% each at Rs 165, Rs 1,685, Rs 719 and Rs 791, respectively.GVK Power debuted at Rs 350 - a premium of 12.9% to the issue price of Rs 310. The stock touched a high of Rs 400, a low of Rs 305, and is currently trading at Rs 327.The market breadth continues to remain positive. Out of 2,341 stocks traded so far, 1,348 have advanced, 927 have declined and the rest are unchanged.Debutant GVK Power tops the value chart with a turnover of Rs 196.16 crore followed by Infosys (Rs 38.63 crore), Reliance Capital (Rs 34.96 crore), Reliance (Rs 31.83 crore) and Larsen & Toubro (Rs 30.42 crore).GVK Power also leads the volume chart with trades of around 61 lakh shares followed by IFCI (32.25 lakh), Reliance Capital Ventures (12.78 lakh), SAIL (11.80 lakh) and HFCL (9.86 lakh).
