The Sensex is now up 86 points at 13,369.NTPC has surged 4.5% to Rs 137. HDFC and Reliance Communications have rallied 3% each to Rs 1,540 and Rs 403, respectively.Bharti Airtel and Reliance Energy have gained around 2.5% each at Rs 557 and Rs 533, respectively. Gujarat Ambuja has moved up 1.7% to Rs 137.HDFC Bank, Tata Motors and Wipro have advanced over 1% each to Rs 1,057, Rs 828 and Rs 542, respectively.Hero Honda has slipped 1.5% to Rs 715. Hindalco, ONGC and Tata Steel are down 1% each to Rs 182, Rs 870 and Rs 498, respectively.Out of 2,584 stocks traded so far, 1,466 have advanced, 1,046 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
