Sensex up 90pts; breadth -ve

 Hindalco has surged over 5% to Rs 173. ITC and Grasim have rallied 3% each to Rs 191 and Rs 3,530, respectively.

Maruti, SBI and ICICI Bank have advanced over 2% each to Rs 998, Rs 1,926 and Rs 1,050, respectively.

Ranbaxy and Cipla have gained 1.8% each at Rs 428 and Rs 179, respectively.

Reliance has dropped nearly 2% to Rs 2,276.

Bharti Airtel and Mahindra & Mahindra are down over 1% each at Rs 948 and Rs 743, respectively.

Out of 2,771 stocks traded so far, 1,452 have declined, 1,249 have advanced and 70 are unchanged.
