The Sensex is still firm and holding above the 7,300 levels following healthy gains in select banking, auto and other old economy counters. It is now up 94 points at 7,306. The Nifty is steady at 2,220 - up 24 points.ICICI Bank has soared 5.29% (Rs 22) to Rs 447. HDFC Bank (up Rs 9 to Rs 659) is trading in a narrow range, while SBI is still up a per cent (Rs 4) at Rs 722.Bajaj has perked up 3.79% (Rs 51) to Rs 1,390, while Hero Honda is up 2.20% (Rs 13) at Rs 601. Tata Motors is trading 2.66% higher (Rs 12) at Rs 446.ACC is up 3.63% (Rs 14) at Rs 408. Grasim and Gujarat Ambuja are holding on to their steady gains at Rs 1,077 and Rs 62, respectively.Cipla has gained 1.94% (Rs 6) to Rs 323, and Dr. Reddy's is up 1.37% (Rs 10) at Rs 779. Ranbaxy is up with steady gains at Rs 1,061.Bharti at Rs 261 (up Rs 8 or 3%), HDFC at Rs 929 (up Rs 15 or 1.67%) and L&T at Rs 1,233 (up Rs 10) are displaying a strong buying support.Reliance Industries has gained 1.10% (Rs 7) to Rs 627, and ONGC is unchanged with a per cent gain (Rs 6) at Rs 926. Reliance Energy, too, is up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 630.TCS is up a per cent (Rs 11) at Rs 1,323. While Wipro and Satyam are also trading at higher levels, Infosys is still lacklustre with a downward trend at Rs 2,329.
