The Sensex is now up 99 points at 12,038.Bharti Tele has surged 2.5% to Rs 422. BHEL has gained 2.3% at Rs 2,420, and Larsen & Toubro is up 2% at Rs 2,715.TCS has advanced over 2% to Rs 1,985. HDFC has added 1.8% to Rs 1,320.Tata Steel, HLL, Wipro and HDFC Bank are up 1.7% each.ONGC has dropped 2.2% to Rs 1,356. Infosys has slipped 1.8% to Rs 3,170, and Maruti is down 1.6% at Rs 909.The market breadth is positive. Out of 2,447 stocks traded so far, 1,635 have advanced, 754 have declined and the rest are unchanged.RCF has zoomed 18% to Rs 56.70. Thomas Cook, Todays Writing, Mahindra Gesco, State Trading, TTK Prestige, Nucleus Software, Godrej Industries, Opto Circuits, BEML and Hinduja TMT are the other significant gainers.Patni Computers has dropped 4% to Rs 401. Harrison Malyalam, Subex Systems, Shriram Transport, State Bank of Mysore, Southern Petro, GE Shipping, Maharashtra Seamless, Reliance Communication Ventures, FACT, IPCA Labs, Corporation Bank, Essel Propack and Arvind Mills are the other major losers.
