After a 250 points plunge on the Sensex on Friday, the Sensex today opned 150 points lower at 13,406 owing to weak cues from the global markets.
The Sensex is still in red and is now at 13,350, down 154 points.
Jaiprakash Associates and Tata Power have slipped 3.5% each to Rs 179 and Rs 1,028, respectively.
Tata Steel and Larsen & Toubro have dropped over 3% each to Rs 341 and Rs 1,315, respectively.
ICICI Bank has declined 2% to Rs 615 and HDFC Bank is down 1.5% at Rs 1,361.
Reliance Communications, Grasim India, Reliance Infrastructures and Reliance are down 2% each.
On the other hand, Sun Pharma has gained around 2.5% each to Rs 1,148 and Infosys is up 1% at Rs 1,749.
