The Sensex is now up 4.6% (424 points) at 9720.The BSE Oil & Gas index has soared 6.7% to 4596, and the Metal index has surged 5.5% to 7383.While the Mid-cap index is up nearly 4% at 4119, the Small-cap index has gained over 2% at 4937.Reliance Energy and Grasim have zoomed 10% each to Rs 415 and Rs 1,717, respectively. Reliance has rallied 9% to Rs 900.NTPC and ITC have surged 6.5% each to Rs 107 and Rs 157, respectively. Ranbaxy has soared over 6% to Rs 363.Larsen & Toubro and Tata Steel have gained nearly 6% each at Rs 1,992 and Rs 450, respectively.Out of 2,262 stocks traded so far, 1,228 have advanced, 995 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
