Shares of Shemaroo Entertainment has zoomed 15% to Rs 285, extending its previous day’s 24% rally in past two trading sessions on NSE, after the foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought stake in the company via open market.
The stock opened at Rs 248 and touched a new high of Rs 295 on NSE. Till 1056 hours, a combined 673,213 shares changed hands on the counter on BSE and NSE.
FIIs had acquired 886,270 shares representing 3.26% stake in Shemaroo Entertainment in past two trading sessions.
On January 22, 2015, Tarra Fund purchased 175,500 shares of the company engaged in movies and entertainment business at an average price of Rs 264.76 per share on NSE, the bulk deal data shows.
