Silver futures for July fell by Rs 267, or 0.48%, to Rs 55,778 per kg in 395 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract declined by Rs 254, or 0.46%, to Rs 54,503 per kg in 4,385 lots.

In Singapore, silver fell by 0.6% to $28.89 an ounce.
