Silver prices recovered by Rs 167 to Rs 43,429 per kg in futures trading today as speculators created fresh positions buoyed by a firm global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July traded Rs 167, or 0.39%, higher at Rs 43,429 per kg in business turnover of 1,274 lots.
Likewise, the white metal for delivery in the September contract traded higher by Rs 144, or 0.33%, to Rs 44,062 per kg in 25 lots.
Meanwhile, silver rose 0.25% to $22.33 an ounce in Singapore.
