Silver prices moved down by Rs 87 or 0.30 per cent to Rs 29,335 per kg in futures trade today on reduced offtake in spot markets at existing higher levels.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for July-month contract moved down by Rs 87, or 0.30 per cent to Rs 29,335 per kg, with an open interest of 11,365 lots.

Similarly, the metal for delivery in September contract declined by Rs 66, or 0.22 per cent to Rs 29,454 per kg, with a business volume of 1,533 lots.

Analysts said subdued demand at higher levels helped silver prices to trade lower at futures trade.
