Silver futures fell over 1% to Rs 56,657 per kg today, as speculators reduced their holdings amid weak Asian markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the May delivery declined by Rs 610, or 1.07%, to Rs 56,967 per kg in business turnover of 3,362 lots.
The July delivery prices fell by Rs 593, or 1%, to Rs 58,614 per kg in 152 lots.
Marketmen said speculators cut holdings tracking the weak Asian trend and pushing down silver prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver traded lower by 0.80% to $32.42 an ounce in Singapore in morning trade today.
