Silver prices traded marginally higher by 0.12% to Rs 48,216 per kg in futures trading today as speculators indulged in creating fresh positions on expectations of a rise in demand for the wedding season.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December rose by Rs 57, or 0.12%, to Rs 48,216 per kg in business turnover of 2,745 lots.
