It seems the sudden spike at the start of the season has left most of our fund managers holding on to cash. Barring Shishir Bajpai, who is going neck-to-neck with the benchmark, it would be interesting to see how they cope up with the early lead which the benchmark has taken.

As mentioned in our earlier update, Ajay Parmar and Vinay Khattar from Season 2 are continuing for Season 3. In addition, we have two new fund managers in Shishir Bajpai and Siddarth Bhamre from IIFL Private Wealth and Angel Broking, respectively. The game has just begun. So, stay tuned to www.smartinvestor.in for an action-packed year ahead.

Also, do keep us updated with your feedback.

Ajay Parmar

Shishir Bajpai has replaced Amar Ambani from the fund house IIFL. His investment style for the next one year would be to look out for value picks across sectors and categories. He would prefer to adopt a bottom-up approach.
