Soyabean prices dropped by Rs 89 to Rs 3,720 per quintal in trading today as traders offloading holdings, tracking weak global cues.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soyabean for far May contract slipped by Rs 89, or 2.34% to Rs 3,720 per quintal in open interest of 700 lots.
Most active near January contract slided by Rs 27.50, or 0.72%, to Rs 3,769 per quintal, having an open interest of 1,28,680 lots.
December month also sheded Rs 21.50, or 0.56%, to Rs 3,820 per quintal, showing an open interest of 13,290 lots.
