Soyabean prices declined by Rs 28.50 to Rs 2,135.50 per quintal in the futures trade today on the back of weakening overseas trend.
Marketmen said increased selling by traders in tandem with weak international advices mainly pulled down sthe soyabean prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, October soybean dropped by Rs 28.50, or 1.32% to Rs 2,135.50 per quintal in an open interest of 1,10,470 lots.
The November contract too slipped by Rs 30, or 1.37% to Rs 2,153 per quintal, in 1,01,250 lots.
