Soyabean prices declined by Rs 21 to Rs 2,435 per quintal in futures trade today following fresh selling by traders on the back of weak overseas advices.
Market analysts said fall in soyabean prices in international markets mainly influenced trading sentiments here.
Also, falling export demand of soymeal brought down the prices in futures trade, they added.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean for delivery in September moved down by Rs 21, or 0.86% to Rs 2,435 per quintal, with an open interest of 3,220 lots.
Soyabean futures prices for delivery in June also shed Rs 12.50, or 0.52% to Rs 2,400 per quintal, revealing an open interest of 1,35,900 lots.
Likewise, it prices for delivery in May fell by Rs 11.50, or 0.49% to Rs 2,355.50 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,34,380 lots.
