Soyabean and mustard oils remained weak and prices fell by Rs 20 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackness in demand amid weakening global trend.
Traders said subdued demand from vanaspati millers and reports of a weakening trend overseas, led to a decline in soyabean and mustard oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) traded Rs 20 lower at Rs 5,980, while soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils traded lower by Rs 20 each to Rs 6,430 and Rs 5,930 per quintal, respectively.
