State Bank GDR up 1.57%

ADR/ GDR REPORT

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was down 0.11 per cent to 1243.51 in the early morning trades in London on Friday. Among the ISDI GDR stocks, four gained and three lost ground.

The major gainers were State Bank of India, up 1.57 per cent to $39.10, Hindalco was up 0.48 per cent to $31.50, L&T was up 0.43 per cent to $23.20 and Reliance was up 0.20 per cent to $24.80.

The major losers were Bajaj Auto, down 2.27 per cent to $23.70, ITC down 1.85 per cent to $29.20 and Ranbaxy down 1.67 per cent to $23.75.

Instanex Skindia DR Index was down 0.40 per cent to 1,244.69 on February 17, 2005 & was trading at a P/E of 19.93 (up 0.04 per cent).

Among the ISDI ADRs, three ADRs gained and five ADRs lost ground on Thursday (February 17). The major gainers were ICICI Bank, up 0.91 per cent to $22.20 on volumes of 2,45,700 DRs.

Dr Reddy's was up 0.51 per cent to $17.82 on volumes of 1,09,600 DRs and Satyam was up 0.20 per cent to $25.30 on volumes of 1,69,200 Drs.

The major losers were Wipro, down 4.24 per cent to $22.14 on volumes of 3,97,400 DRs, VSNL was down 1.20 per cent to $9.92 on volumes of 1,03,300 DRs.
