Steel prices remain quiet in thin trade

Quiet conditions prevailed on the wholesale steel and iron market today as prices continued to trade in a tight range in the absence of buying and settled around previous levels.

Traders said adequate stocks lack of buying support mainly kept steel prices quiet.
