Stock markets in the positive

The Sensex is now trading at 12,740, up 144 points.

The Nifty is trading at 3887 points, up 37 points.

Jaiprakash Associates is up 5.3% to Rs 112.35, HDFC has advanced 4.7% to Rs 2121. Bhel is up 3.5% to Rs 1562. SBI and M&M are up over 2% each.  

Tata Steel is down 5.2% to Rs 422. Sterlite has lost 3.9% to Rs 416, Tata Power, Tata Motors and Grasim are down over 2% each.
RCom and Hindustan Unilever are down over 1% each.
