 Engineering giant Larsen & Toubro, which trades 874 times of its paid-up value, ranks number two among the 100-most high-value stocks. Financial Technologies (648 times), Infosys Technologies (593 times) and Hero Honda (593 times), are other most high-value stocks trading over 100 times their paid-up value.  Jay Bharat Sarees, a tiny Rs 1.02-crore equity capital company, with the promoters holding almost 70 per cent, trades at 317 times. Among others, Mercator Lines (145 times), Parry Agro (143 times), Amtek Auto (140 times), Kirloskar Brothers (135 times), Asian Star (133 times), Manugraph Industries (124 times) and Atlas Copco (124 times) are few S-group stocks that are trading at over 100 times their paid-up.  Of the 100 stocks that trade over 100 times their paid-up value, 30 are trading at ten times P/BV, compared to a meagre two, six months back. Infosys Technologies, Hindustan Lever, Godrej Consumer Products, Martix Labs and Bharat Forge are among others that trade at a P/BV of over 10 times.
