Strides Arcolab has soared 5% to Rs 930, its historic high level on getting final ANDA nod for Vinorelbine injection.
The stock of pharmaceutical company has rallied 14% in past four trading sessions after the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Onco Therapies received final ANDA approval for Vinorelbine Injection. The benchmark index Sensex has gained 1.68% during the same period.
“Vinorelbine is part of the Oncology portfolio licenced to Pfizer for the US market and the product is available for immediate launch. Vinorelbine is used to treat various types of cancer. It is a chemotherapy drug that works by slowing or stopping cancer cell growth,” the company said in a filing.
A combined 264,891 shares have already changed hands on the counter so far against an average sub 275,000 shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on the NSE and BSE.
