Sugar prices declined modestly at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to sluggish offtake amid ample stock positions.
Medium sugar (M-30) fell by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,776/2,881 from its overnight closing level of Rs 2,786/2,881.
Small sugar (S-30) also moved down by Rs 6 per quintal to Rs 2,720/2,761 as against Rs 2,726/2,761 yesterday.
