Sugar millgate prices improved by Rs 10 per quintal in the national capital today following better offtake by stockists and retailers amid higher millers advices.
Marketmen said the prices hiked after getting influenced by reports that the sweetener traded at four month high level in overseas markets.
In millgate section, sugar thanabhavan and budhana moved up by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,570 and Rs 2,570 per quintal.
Mawana and Dorala also gained by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,610 and Rs 2,590 per quintal.

Sugar ready M-30 2,740-2,825 and S-30 2,730-2,815
Mill delivery M-30 2,550-2,700 and S-30 2,540-2690
Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,660, Asmoli 2,650, Mawana 2,610, Titabi 2,615, Thanabhavan 2,580, Budhana 2,570 and Dorala 2,590.
