Sugar prices recovered by Rs 25 per quintal in the national capital today on fresh buying by stockists against restricted arrivals from mills.

Sugar medium and second grade prices gained Rs 25 each to Rs 2,750-2,800 and Rs 2,740-2,790 per quintal. Similarly, mill delivery medium and second grades prices traded higher by the same margin at Rs 2,525-2,625 and Rs 2,500-2,600 per quintal.
