Sugar prices rose Rs 30 per quintal in the national capital today following restricted supply from millers.
Marketmen said better offtake by stockists and retailers amid restricted supply from mills, pushed up sugar mill delivery prices.
Sugar mill delivery medium and second grade prices moved up from Rs 2,500-2,620 and Rs 2,490-2,610 to settle at Rs 2,510-2,650 and Rs 2,500-2,640 per quintal.

Sugar ready M-30 2,700-2,800 and S-30 2,690-2,790
Mill delivery M-30 2,510-2,650 and S-30 2,500-2640.
