Sugar prices rose at the Vashi Wholesale market here today on robust demand from stockists and bulk traders.
Medium sugar quality (M-30) firmed up by Rs 25/30 per quintal to Rs 3,011/3,081 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 2,986/3,051.
Small sugar quality (S-30) also went up by Rs 20/31 per quintal to Rs 2,971/3,011, as against Rs 2,951/2,981 of last Saturday.
